UChicago Diving Concludes NCAA Regional at Myers-McLoraine Pool

CHICAGO – The University of Chicago men's and women's diving teams wrapped up competition on Saturday as hosts of the two-day NCAA Diving Regional.

The women's one-meter dive led off the afternoon, with 22 participants taking 11 dives each. The event winner was Sarah Bradley of Calvin College with 430.65 points. Senior Natalie DeMuro led the UChicago contingent in seventh place with 387.65 points. Junior Anna Girlich recorded a 13th-place showing with 365.20 points scored.

At the end of the meet, DeMuro was named unofficially as an NCAA Championship alternate on the three-meter board.

The weekend concluded with the men's three-meter dive. A total of 24 divers were in the field. Heath Ogawa of Lake Forest College won the event with a final score of 512.50 points. UChicago first-year Joseph Zhao placed 21st with 365.05 points.
